Ownership claims and private item messages
- Open a Found item → This may be mine. Describe identifying marks or contents that are not publicly visible. Do not upload identity documents.
- The report owner reviews the private claim in Inbox & claims. Accept/reject decisions do not prove identity or pay a reward. Item inquiries use the same private conversation area. Submitting another inquiry or pending claim saves the new text as a follow-up in the same thread, retaining original evidence and the existing decision. Rejected, blocked and unavailable conversations still refuse new contact.
- Item conversations show the latest 200 messages. Use Older messages to read earlier pages and Latest messages to return. Every page enforces the same participant, moderator and friends-only permissions. Older messages are not deleted merely because they leave the latest page.
- Block a suspicious participant or report abuse. Arrange a safe return; never disclose payment credentials.
